Q&A

Has the "Back to Jerusalem" goal of sending 100,000 missionaries from China been accomplished?

According to a 2003 book entitled Back to Jerusalem: Three Chinese House Church Leaders Share Their Vision to Complete the Great Commission, several prominent Chinese Christians contended that China could and would send at least 100,000 missionaries to other countries, particularly countries between China and Jerusalem, "in the next decade or two" (according to this book review).

It's now 17 years later or so, and I'd like to know how close they are to accomplishing this goal. Do the authors of the book, or other prominent supporters of this movement, believe that China has sent out 100,000 missionaries pursuant to the original goal? If not, have they provided a new timeline or goal?
