Examples of questions that are NOT a good fit

We aim to create a space for constructive and insightful Christian Q&A. To ensure this, certain types of questions are discouraged. To help you understand our guidelines, this article provides examples of questions that are _generally_ considered **off-topic**.

- **Personal / Subjective** (opinions, experiences, feelings)

- **Unspecified / Overly Broad**

- **Personal Pastoral Advice** (seeking individualized counseling or guidance)

- **Proselytizing / Debate** (intent to *persuade* rather than *understand*)

  - Does the Bible predict that microchips will be the mark of the beast?
  - Is [political figure] the Antichrist?

- **Philosophical / General Supernatural** (existence of God, ghosts without Christian connection)
  - Does God exist? (Philosophical debate, not a tradition-specific Christian Q&A.)
  - What is the meaning of life? (General philosophical question.)
  - Do ghosts exist? (Without a specific Christian theological context.)
  - Does the soul exist independently of the body? (Without connection to a specific Christian perspective)

- **Disrespectful / Provocative** (intentionally argumentative or unreasonably offensive)
  - Why are Christians so hypocritical?
  - Isn't the Bible full of contradictions?
  - Why do Christians hate [group of people]?
  - Why are members of [Denomination] so stupid?

- **Salvation Judgments** (who is "in" or "out" without reference to a specific Christian perspective)
