True, but also, what this community will look like. It doesn’t necessarily have to look like Somewhere Else at all or even share scope decisions with _either_ site (although I think some wisdom can be gleaned and learned from). (more) |

Peter, I suspect the majority of questions (and answers) will be from a non-denominational Protestant perspective (which could mean just about anything, but the authority model is generally consistent). (more) |

Peter, I’m not opposed to that, but that’s what forums are for, not Q&A sites. So I’m leery. Usually Q&A is not discussion. It’s finite answers. (more) |

The other interesting thing we have in Christianity is groups that claim to have no tradition/bias ("We just believe the Bible!"), and there is a bit of discussion about this on another community (see, e.g., https://christianity.meta.stackexchange.com/q/1438/1304). (more) |

My concern is that mainstream (evangelical Protestant) views will be upvoted and minority perspectives downvoted simply based on agreement/disagreement and popularit... (more) |

For example: Protestant, non-denominational: The Bible alone (defined as the 66-book, traditional Protestant canon). Protestant, Lutheran: This differs depending on the specific Lutheran denomination, but ... (more) |
